Abstract:   (60 Views)
Nurses’ well-being and empowerment are prerequisites for the sustainability of the health system and the strengthening of the economy, as they carry most of the care burden in hospitals and the community. When economic pressures, burnout, and human resource shortages increase, nurses’ ability to provide safe and humane care decreases, leading to reduced quality of services, more medical errors, and a greater tendency to migrate. Nurse migration not only worsens shortages but also leads to a loss of investment in training specialized personnel. Evidence shows that investing in the nursing workforce improves patient outcomes, reduces costs, and increases system efficiency. Therefore, genuine support for nurses is both a moral and strategic imperative.
