The serious complications of diabetes affect various aspects of a person&#39;s life, leading to negative impacts on the individual&#39;s quality of life (QOL). The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between medication adherence and QOL in patients with type 2 diabetes.<span style="color:#000099"></span></span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:14.0pt"><span calibri="" style="font-family:"><b><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><span style="color:#000099">Methods:</span></span></b> <span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times="">In this descriptive cross-sectional study, 229 patients with type 2 diabetes enrolled in comprehensive urban health centers affiliated to Babol University of Medical Sciences were selected using convenience sampling. Three questionnaires were used to collect data: demographics, medication adherence rating scale (MARS), and QOL. The data were analyzed using SPSS 26.<span style="color:#000099"></span></span></span></span></span><br> <span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:14.0pt"><span calibri="" style="font-family:"><b><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times=""><span style="color:#000099">Findings:</span></span></b> <span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times="">The mean and standard deviation of the patients&#39; age was 50.18 &plusmn; 10.01. The mean score of medication adherence was 4.97 &plusmn; 1.62.
